Evan Langsted
Denver, Colorado
GROOMSMAN
Next up in Joe’s Denver crew is Evan Langsted—a man who, unlike Ned, actually gave Joe a run for his money on the volleyball court. Their friendship began about 13 years ago in a Steamboat Springs weekend volleyball tournament, where Evan proved to be an actual adversary on the court. The matches were competitive, the rivalry was real, and a solid friendship was born out of mutual respect.
While Evan and Joe have their fair share of wild party stories and fun trips, what really defines their friendship is their never-ending battle for athletic superiority—whether it’s throwing down on the volleyball court, racing down the mountain on snowboards or their latest obsession—intense, late-night ping pong showdowns in Evan and Meriah’s basement.

Beyond their athletic clashes, they also share a deep love for sports, regularly cheering (or yelling) at Nuggets, Avs, and Rockies games. Through it all, Evan and his amazing wife, Meriah, have watched Joe cycle through different Denver friend groups, yet one thing has always remained the same—Evan’s unwavering support and loyalty. He’s been a trusted and true friend since day one, which is exactly why he’s standing up here with Joe today… and probably planning his next move in their never-ending game of one-upmanship.
