Cortney and Sarah’s friendship began in 2006 at a post-USF football party with one simple (but crucial) question: “Do you like tequila?” One margarita later, they discovered they were both in the College of Communications, had leases ending soon, and—naturally—decided to tackle their final two semesters of undergrad together.
As senior-year roommates, they became inseparable—signing up for the same classes, pulling all-nighters in the library, and squeezing in as many concerts as their schedules (and bank accounts) allowed.

After graduation, they both moved to Orlando for their first post-college jobs, and their friendship evolved in ways neither could have predicted. Even as Sarah’s journey took her to Los Angeles, Seattle, and Colorado, their bond only strengthened. Every new city brought new adventures, deeper conversations, and a friendship that defied distance.
Cortney has a rare gift for attracting the funniest, kindest, and most genuine people into her life—because she embodies all those things herself.
